ABOUT THE FRIENDS
Our group was founded in 2003 by local residents and volunteers of Supawna Meadows National Wildlife Refuge. We share a common goal to support and promote the Refuge.
Our Mission Statement:
The Friends of Supawna Meadows National Wildlife Refuge is an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to enhance this national treasure by fostering community awareness, conducting outreach, environmental education, supporting habitat and wildlife conservation on the refuge.
We are a non-profit, tax exempt organization (501(c)3).
Operating income is mainly from tax deductible donations and dues.
